Justice’s DVNO Video Directed by So-Me
March 6, 2008 // Design + Films + Music

With all the hoopla of the DWP I have a backlog of stuff that I need to post about, such as Justice’s new video for their song DVNO. While the song isn’t one of my favorite’s on the album, the video is awesome. It was directed by So-Me, Ed Banger’s creative director and all around illustrating genius, and features reworkings of old logos. Just the fact that someone can make an entire music video around something like that totally amazes me.

I snagged the picture above from the new issue of Nylon Guys, which has a quick but informative article about So-Me (who’s real name is Bertrand de Langeron).

  1. This video is sick dope… It’s all over the web and it’s well deserved. Such a nice job. So beautifully executed. These guys at Ed banger totally make me proud of being french. Not to mention McBess extraordinary wallpaper… Be careful Bobby: french people are taking over Kitsune Noir !!! Thanks for the DWP, it’s an amazing idea!

  2. Clem, I’m so down with the French, it’s not even funny. Kitsune NOIR?! I mean c’mon, it’s in the name!

  3. C’est aujourd’hui que Justice et ses connards deviennent passés. Haven’t you got the memo ? Justice is now being forced in our ears by commercial music distribution, back for a 14th time in a really bad theatre for a 100$ 1hour dj set that is a copy paste of the one a year ago… These guys are now sucking IMO. The last santogold is the shit now mon ami.

  4. I’m more impressed with the visuals of So-Me more than Justice’s music. I felt like their record was played out a couple weeks after it was released.
