Saison Beer
December 5, 2008 // Design + Food & Drinks

Simplicity done well is not always easy, but Zoran Konjarski of Melbourne, Australia nailed it on the head when he created these rebranded Saison beer bottles. Designed to look like pharmaceutical, the simple brown bottles mixed with the white neue helvetica bold make for quite a striking combo. If I was at a bar, these would definitely grab my attention.

meh i like them. i think it’s clever considering how gaudy most beer labels are. sometimes simple really is best.
and i still love helvetica. it’s got charm. now arial… that’s getting a little overdone IMO.

Very cool.
Also a big fan of another Melbourne brand with great pharmaceutical-inspired packaging:
