Terminally Chill by Neon Indian
Neon Indian is exactly what I want summer 2K9 to sound like. Last summer it was Cut Copy, and this summer it’s definitely going to be the trippy, laid back sounds of Alan Palamo. His label says the new album, Psyhic Chasms, was inspired by “drug induced heartbreak, weary afternoons, and lost chances”, which sounds like a gem to me. The album doesn’t come out until October 13th though, so be sure to get his first EP and download two new songs from his label.

P.S. Cover above is by me, and has nothing to do with Alan or Lefse.

Great find! I had overlooked Neon Indian before but the title of this track made me second guess doing so. It’s a great 2009 summer album. No way I’m arguing with that.

Amazing music, thanks for sharing! Can’t stop listening to Terminally Chill, it’s perfect for designing to :)
If you haven’t heard them yet, you should try Animal Collective. My Girls mixes nice with Neon Indian.
