First off this is very well done street-art, this is also very well done GRAFFITI. Semantics are a problem for all writers, bombers, taggers. We hate the term Graffiti, but that's how we get labeled by society and guess what the history books too! Its time to REDEFINE graffiti as STREET-ART because when it comes down to it. this is just "idea-to-surface application" with one thing in mind - communicating creative liberty

@Brent - I was specifically referring to my nieghborhood, where it's definitely gang related, people claiming territory. That's why I want something more like this.

>It would be great if more people could do this around towns instead of the gross gang scribbles and the such.

Ignorance is bliss, eh? The majority of graffiti isn't gang related. When it is gang related, it's patently obvious. Stop and really take a look at graffiti sometime, especially tagging. I'm not talking about "SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY" being spray painted under a bridge, but tags from people who consistently get up. It's extremely rich in expression and interpretation of typography.

Same goes for bombing, or full pieces. Look at something like http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3545/3642663078_a09da48623_b.jpg and tell me that's not art? People who think legality somehow disqualifies someone's artistic expression really needs their head checked.
