Three Frames

I love the ingenious idea of Three Frames. It’s exactly like it sounds, take three frames from a movie and turn it into a looping, animated GIF. The effect is kind of amaz-eating, a mixture of amazing and nauseating. You totally get sucked in watching these things, like something else might pop out at you. Any idea what movie the images above are from? I have no idea, I just thought they were really fun.

  3. Yeah – all his tumblers including Aloha Friday and Keggers of Yore are excellent. Addictive! I’d love to know where he gets all the great photos though.

  4. Haha I follow it on my tumblr and some of the content is questionable. Especially when tumblr is my homepage and my friends use my laptop…

  5. You should look up, if you’re not already familiar, the work of Ken Jacobs. He sort of invented this idea of three-dimensional space engendered by the rapid succession of flickering image loops. At once nauseating and hypnotizing indeed…

  6. Moggy is right thats totally Female Convict Scorpion. After having seen all three they are totally worth checking out. Really over the top overly dramatic revenge film. Highly suggested.
