Thru You | Kutiman Mixes YouTube

The other day Questlove tweeted about this guy named Kutiman, an Israeli artist who splices together pieces of YouTube videos and makes really great music out of them. His style is similar to that of old DJ Shadow or J Dilla, making entire songs and beats of pieces of random stuff. He has a site called Thru You where you can watch all of his videos in succesion, which I definitely did, I couldn’t turn away.
The video above is called The Mother of All Funk Chords, which should give you a good idea of what this guy is capable of. I love that he also edits the videos together, so you get a sense of where all of the sounds came from. How cool is this?

OH MY GOD! This made my day, that is some serious editing skills.
