Hey hey it’s Friday and I’ve got a new Mixcast for ya’. This weeks has a theme which is centered around female vocalists. I heard Nico singing the Velvet Underground song I’ll Be Your Mirror in an optics shop a couple weeks ago and that was the start of it. Basically these are just some of my favorites songs by lady singers.
For the artwork I went for something that might appeal more to women, something kind of Anthropologie feeling. I really like that it’s so different from last week’s art which was very dark and forebodding, while this is fun and energetic.

How cool, I have a playlist with the same theme, but I made it more classic I guess, like Blondie, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon etc. The artwork is yours?? Awesome!!

Okay. I think what you are trying to say is that it’s more stereotypically feminine. But not all women prefer feminine things, or even like them at all.

hey, great selection. i look forward to hearing these mixes each week. i always have a yearning for female voices after a long night out, so i’ll save this for suitable size hangover. cheers!
