Brand New Tron Legacy Trailer

There are a lot of really stellar looking movies coming out this year and Tron Legacy is high on that list. I honestly don’t even remember the original very well, just vague snippets of fat guys in glowing suits. Obviously this looks like something out of this world, like The Matrix for the two thousand teens era.

Based on this trailer alone I think this movie is going to be huge. It’s such a visual treat, and kind of unlike anything else out there. I think the original really did a great job to try and embody that early computer buzz but in this current incarnation it’s been refined into something even greater. Add to that a Daft Punk soundtrack and yeah, you’ve got a gem of a film.

Be sure to watch to the very end as well, there’s a snippet you can’t miss.

    Well, thats not totally true, but Carlos has done some really underrated work, especially the stuff she did with Kubrick.

    Personally, good visuals alone don’t impress me (Malick aside), so lets hope its a half decent film.

    Don’t get me wrong, I think it ‘looks’ great. The director is coming off a background in computer graphics, so there’s no question this is going to be a visual stunner.

    I’m just hoping the script is as good, or even half as good as the visuals, because in the end, thats what I go to see.

    i think your thinking of geek fancy dress. there were no overweight people in the original.

    the original film is ace. you’ve completely underestimated it. please go see it before you see the new one.

  10. It’s a very small thing on which to base a belief in a good script, but for some reason, “Wouldn’t that be something” sounds a (slight) step above any of the the usual bland responses that could’ve fit in there.

    Oh, who am I kidding, I’m a script-snob too and I’d go see this for the visuals alone.
