The trailer above is for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, and so far it’s looking amazing. Chris Nolan, the director of the masterpiece Memento, took over the Batman series with the last movie and this one looks equally as impressive.

The Joker is the new villain in this one, played by Heath Ledger, and captive mother Katie Holmes is no longer around, in her place is the much better Maggie Gyllenhaal. The action looks pretty amazing, it’s shot gritty and real, and I think that Heath Ledger is going to do a great job as the Joker. Less silly 80’s and much more unbalanced and sadistic.

   This guy has made the only batman movie i have ever liked. I cannot wait to see this.
   And Christian Bale is such an awesome actor!

2. I was a big fan of the Tim Burton ones back in the 80’s, but in hindsight they definitely seem a bit silly.
