Rock Paper Scissors Posters by Jon Mutch

As of lately I’ve been slightly annoyed with Facebook. I’m getting more and more annoying requests for dumb things like “hot men” and “cupcakes”, but then I came across the work of Jon Mutch, a random reader of the blog whom I friended a while ago. Jon graduated from the University of Winnipeg last year with a degree in art history and plans on going into graphic design.

The posters above were created for a friend who hosts a weekly event called Rock Paper Scissors. I know that if I saw one of these posters up I would totally take a second look. Jon was inspired by the work of Scott Hansen, but he’s definitely taken his own take on the retro style. And if you’re ever in Winnipeg, be sure to check out The Pyramid Cabaret!
