Scott Barry, the brains behind Birdstand, has a new show coming up on Saturday at the Receiver Gallery in San Francisco. The show is titled One Foot In The Other World, The Other Foot In The Other World (which may be the longest name for a show ever). The show features pieces that make Mr. Scott smile, which I think is a pretty rad idea. For example, he recently “walked in to a liquor store in Las Vegas and a man was at the counter buying a bottle of Courvoisier. [Sade‘s] `Smooth Operator‘ was playing on the radio in the store, and he looked at me and smiled and his grill sparkled.” If that’s not a good reason to this show, then I don’t know what it is.

If you’d like to see more pieces from the show, head over to the Receiver Gallery> The show goes from 7 to 10, and some dude named Nathan is gonna be serving “soy milk white russians and some kind of wheatgrass thing.”
