Los Angeles, I’m Yours | A Poketo & Kitsune Noir Market
Posted by Bobby Solomon • April 12, 2010 • Art & Design & Kitsune Noir & Los Angeles

For the last month or so myself, my friends Ted & Angie of Poketo, and my buddies Josh Porter and Eric Trine have been working on a show in the Space15Twenty Gallery called Los Angeles, I’m Yours, and I’m happy to share some information about it. My new years resolution for the year was to start working more and more with the creative community here in Los Angeles, and that’s just what were trying to do.
Los Angeles, I’m Yours takes the best artists and designers from the Los Angeles area and brings them together into what we’re calling an “Art Market”, basically a gallery show formatted like a space you’d find in the Rose Bowl Flea Market. These creatives will be taking old and vintage pieces and giving them new life as works of art. Honestly we’ve got some really amazing artists do some really cool stuff with some unusual pieces. We’re also going to be totally transforming the Space15Twenty Gallery into an entirely new environment, filled with all kind of furniture and knick knacks.
Here are the artists we have involved so far:
Alex Krastev \ ASHKAHN \ Bijan Berahimi \ Brian Wade Scott \ Chris Bettig \ Cole Gerst \ David Browne \ Eamon Ore-Giron \ Eric Trine \ Erin Burrell \ Florencio Zavala \ Gary Baseman \ Geoff McFetridge \ Gina Osterloh \ Hannah K. Lee \ Ian O’Phelan \ Jared Andrew Schorr \ Jason Schwartzman \ John Pham \ Jordan Crane \ Leah Chun \ Marco Zamora \ Mark Todd \ Neil Doshi \ Neil LaBute for Significant Objects \ Portugal. The Man \ Saelee Oh \ Sarajo Frieden & Marci Boudreau \ Scott Barry \ Steven Harrington \ Tim Biskup \ Tom Vadakan \ Ye Rin Mok
The Market opens on April 24th, from 7pm to 10pm, where we’ll also have Justin Gage froM Aquarium Drunkard DJing as well as custom ice cream flavors courtesy of Scoops. And that’s just the opening night! There are plenty more surprises coming as well, so be sure to check back and see what else we have in store.
